Women Entrepreneurs in Chile Manifest Their Ideas
SERNATUR, SERNAM and BancoEstado Microempresa announce Contest No. 4 for women entrepreneurs in Chile. The contest will focus on enterprises in the area of sustainable tourism.
In the competition for women owned micro-businesses, each Chilean region will select a venture to compete in the final round. The 15 women that will be participating have to present their projects to the jury consisting of SERNATUR, SERNAM and BancoEstado Microempresa, which are bound to specified rules for the competition. They will select the three highest scoring out of a wide variety in businesses.
The winners will be announced in November:
• First place receives CL$500,000 in cash and a trip to Puerto Varas for 3 days
• Second place consists of CL$300,000 in cash and a trip to Valdivia
• Third place of CL$200,000 in cash and a trip to Viña del Mar
More than 600 women entrepreneurs participate. The competition encourages women all over Chile to manifest their ideas.
