Betsy Mikesell and Angie White

Betsy Mikesell was a full time hair dresser and mom of 3 kids. She saw a need for her kids bunk beds and decided to create her own type of zipper bedding. After hearing from her friends that they all wanted the bedding she decided to bring on her friend Angie White and create the product now known and patented as Beddy’s. Betsy oversaw a Kickstarter campaign in 2014 which funded $108,000 in 40 days. Since then she has managed the order fulfillment process for Beddy's while handling day to day operations. Beddy’s has continued to see 200% growth year over year.

Angie White was a full-time mom of four working to finish her psychology degree when her friend, Betsy Mikesell, asked if she could help her with an idea for bunk bed bedding. What started out as a hobby soon blossomed into a product they both felt could revolutionize the bedding industry. After years of work testing prototypes and a successfully funded Kickstarter campaign, in 2014, Angie and Betsy launched Beddy's. Since then, their product line has expanded from four to over twenty styles in sizes from Toddler to California King, as well as a variety of complimentary accessories. Angie serves as the company’s CFO, managing all purchasing, financials, and day to day operations. She has overseen tremendous growth, building revenue through both online retail and brick and mortar wholesale channels from $250K the first year to nearly $4M in 2016.
