How One Woman is Making Global Progress Out of Excess
Goods 4 Good, run by Melissa Kushner (Founder and Executive Director – pictured above), empowers communities to support orphans and other children in need by supplying materials that meet the immediate needs of these children while partnering with local community centers to strengthen their skills and build businesses for sustained impact.
Ms. Kushner was also recently named “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” by the World Entrepreneurship Forum. On October 26, the U.S. Ambassador to France, Charles Rivkin presented Melissa with the award in Lyon, France. Melissa addressed hundreds of entrepreneurs from all over the world at the award ceremony. I was honored to be there in person (full disclosure: I am a charter member of the World Entrepreneurship Forum) to witness her receiving this prestigious award.
