Kickstarter is becoming the cool way for projects to raise money.
Take musician Amanda Palmer, she managed to raise more than $1 million for a new album through a Kickstarter project, making it the seventh project to break the million-dollar mark in the crowdfunding platform’s history. She ended up with 24,883 backers and did it in three days. Yes, you read that right.
Even before signing up with Kickstarter, Palmer had already spent more than $250,000 (as shown above) recording her new album.
What does all this say? Where there’s a will with talent, there’s a way.
