how does it work?
Participants use tchat.io or twubs.com to follow the conversation using the hashtag #weggchat. The purpose of the chat is to educate women entrepreneurs and business owners on how to grow global. In the last five minutes of our chat, all participants are invited to share their “140 character” elevator pitch on their businesses.
Meet John Yunker
John Yunker is the world’s leading expert on web and content globalization and is author of the first book devoted to web globalization, Beyond Borders: Web Globalization Strategies as well as the newest book Think Outside the Country (also available in Japanese).
He co-founded Byte Level Research (bytelevel.com) in 2000 and, since then, has helped hundreds of companies and organizations improve their global websites and content. He has written a number of landmark reports, including 14 annual editions of The Web Globalization Report Card, which is used by many of the leading global companies.
John speaks at corporate and industry events, including Internet Retailer, Localization World and the Unicode Conference. He has a journalism degree from the University of Missouri and an MS from Boston University and he contributes to UX Magazine, Multilingual Magazine and blogs at Global by Design.
