DEBRA DUDLEY’S OPTIMISM AND RAPID RESPONSE TO BUSINESS CHALLENGES CONTRIBUTED GREATLY TO THE GROWTH OF THE NOW-GLOBAL ENTERPRISE

Chicago – March 20, 2024:  Women Entrepreneurs Grow Global (wegg®) – a Chicago-based nonprofit organization with a mission to educate, inspire and nurture women business owners and entrepreneurs worldwide – announced today that Debra Dudley is the 2024 recipient of the Gail Adinamis wegg® Award for Exemplary Global Leadership®.

Debra is the founder of Oscarware, a family-owned company located in Bonnieville, a town in south central Kentucky. Oscarware is best known for manufacturing a full line of both disposable and porcelain coated steel grill toppers that make it easy to cook a variety of meals—from pizza to vegetables—on an outdoor grill. All products are 100% recyclable. Debra and her daughter, vice president Kelly Dudley Busick, lead the 25-employee enterprise, which distributes its products across the U.S, Europe and its website www.oscarwareinc.com.

In its third year, the award honors wegg stakeholders like Debra who have gone out of their way to connect, create, contribute, and collaborate with wegg, and forge helpful alliances. It is named after Gail Adinamis, founder of Global Care Clinical Trials, LLC, a leading global provider of ambulant health care services for clinical trials. The company was acquired by LabCorp in July 2020 to further expand its decentralized clinical trials capabilities globally.

Past awardees are Julie Smolyansky of Lifeway Foods and Michelle Hayward of Bluedog Design.
