Meet the presenter, Kelly Twichel
Kelly Twichel, CEO, Access Trax
Kelly is an occupational therapist and passionate accessibility advocate from San Diego, California.
As an OT student in 2016, Kelly was inspired by adaptive surfers to co-invent a portable pathway that empowers people with physical disabilities to easily access the outdoors and recreation. In 2018, Kelly launched Access Trax- a social impact startup that has since served customers across 10 countries.
Some of her favorite accomplishments include volunteering at the first Costa Rica Adaptive Surf Open, being accepted into a new San Diego business accelerator and winning the 2020 FedEx Small Business Grant.
She envisions Access Trax becoming a global leader for outdoor accessibility solutions and really enjoys connecting with her customers. Kelly also shares her experiences with future entrepreneurs and encourages the next generation of problem solvers.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading sci-fi, and spending time outdoors.
