Hispanic Heritage Month 2024

Yesterday marked the first day of National Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month 2024! The overarching theme for this year’s festivities, acknowledgments, and commemorations is “Pioneers of Change: Shaping the Future Together.” As a women entrepreneurship organization, this month we are giving focus to the Latina business owners who are pioneers for their communities’ past, present, and future. Legal Zoom’s September article, “How female Hispanic business owners are fueling the economy,” explains,

“There are over two million Latina-owned businesses in the country, a growth of more than 87% since 2007, according to the National Women’s Business Council. These businesses are helping to fuel the U.S. economy.”
