Pride Month is Here!

Welcome to Pride Month 2026, wegg® world! We hope that all of the LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs in our community and beyond have a month of celebration, honor, and empowerment. Supporting LBGTQ-owned businesses is a direct way to be an ally to the community, and such businesses ,”contribute $1.7 trillion to the United States economy, according to the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce.” The resiliency of LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs is a testament to their strength, as they often unfairly face backlash, financial barriers and discrimination. Increasing the economic fluency, global expansion, and opportunities for capital for minority entrepreneurs is always at the forefront of wegg’s mission.

Despite challenges, LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs are still starting businesses at record breaking rates; Michelle Fox reports for CNBC that “Some 10% of entrepreneurs who started their own businesses last year identified as LGBTQ.”
