Join us on Wednesday April 8th, 2020 for a free wegginar® with Dana Donofree, founder of AnaOno. AnaOno is a Philadelphia based lingerie and loungewear company, “created specifically for those who’ve been affected by breast cancer and its related surgeries.” Dana founded AnaOno after she was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 27. The AnaOno website states,
“AnaOno is made for women with breast cancer by women with breast cancer. Founder and designer Dana made it her mission to design specifically for women who have had breast reconstruction, breast surgery, mastectomy, or are living with other conditions that cause pain or discomfort because she believes that beauty and comfort should not be a compromise.”
At Dana’s wegginar® she will cover a wide range of topics regarding her inspirational story. Some of the main takeaways include,
- Focus on doing work you love.
- Get out there and hustle.
- Listen to others, then trust your gut. “If I’d listened to people who questioned why women needed comfortable, beautiful bras after surgery, I never would have launched AnaOno.”
Dana is very active in the breast cancer community and with several non-profits. She serves on the Living Beyond Breast Cancer board and is a METAvivor advocate. Her story has been featured on USA Today, The Today Show, HuffPost, The New York Times, Style, and many other media outlets. She won the FedEx Small Business Grant Contest, was a finalist at WBENCPitch presented by PepsiCo and served on the FedEx Small Business Center Entrepreneur Advisory Board.
Be sure to register for the free wegginar® here. If you cannot make it, wegg® has a new programming outlet called “wegg® Virtual Café,” that happens every Tuesday at 4pm CST. The Virtual Cafés are for anyone who wants to share stories and ideas with one another about dealing with business issues during the COVID-19 pandemic.
