wegg® Listed at No. 7 in FeedSpot’s “25 Best Women Entrepreneur Blogs”
“At first, wegg® was a one-stop website with articles and other resources for women business owners to use in growing their customer base and revenue through exporting. As time went on, [Laurel] Delaney noticed that many visitors to the site were women entrepreneurs with neither the time nor the money to spend on continuing education…In June 2015, Delaney incorporated wegg as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and expanded its services so women anywhere with access to technology and the Internet could learn how to take their business global.”
History – Women Entrepreneurs Grow Global®
Since wegg’s inception, we have published weekly articles for our community of budding and experienced women entrepreneurs. From global news to inspiring stories to celebrating the successes and excitement of our board members and the team at large, we pride ourselves on being a source of relevant and helpful information for all. Serving our network of women in business as a dependable asset at all stages of their careers is at the heart of what we do.
Just last week we were mentioned in FeedSpot’s listicle of “25 Best Women Entrepreneur Blogs and Websites,” at number 7! We were hugely honored and grateful for the recognition among so many other illuminating publications. The catalog was developed “from thousands of blogs on the web and ranked by traffic, social media followers & freshness.” The criteria they weighed centered around topic relevancy, blog post frequency, social media engagement, and domain authority. The wegg blog is one of the many ways in which we have remained consistent since 2008.
We are beholden to our followers and supporters and are optimistic for many more years of guiding women entrepreneurs toward lasting connections and life-changing results. Communication and knowledge sharing are evergreen for us.
“Magic happens when you connect people. I credit much of my success to always making it a point to truly get to know people and help them whenever I can…Women founders in particular are often highly skilled at making connections that can help advance their businesses.”
