
Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) Is Accepting Applications Until 7/28/25
The Academy for Women Entrepreneurs is a U.S. Department of State initiative that has benefited over 10,000 women in approximately 50 countries. The program seeks to promote entrepreneurial education for women who already own and operate their own businesses. In addition to the course, participants receive mentorship from specialized market professionals, enhancing their knowledge and strengthening their business strategies.
The U.S. Embassy and Consulates in Brazil, in partnership with +Unidos Group, are accepting applications for the fourth edition of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE 4.0). The program, which is completely free, aims to foster economic development by strengthening women’s entrepreneurship. The AWE-Brazil 4.0 curriculum is based on the course “100 Million Learners Bootcamp on Global Entrepreneurship & Innovation,” developed by the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University. The training covers topics such as (global) business expansion, value chains, branding, intellectual property, e-commerce, and more.
