Chicago – March 24, 2026: Women Entrepreneurs Grow Global (wegg®) – a Chicago-based nonprofit organization with a mission to educate, inspire and nurture women business owners and entrepreneurs worldwide – announced today that Wendy Shen is the 2026 recipient of the Gail Adinamis wegg® Award for Exemplary Global Leadership®.
Wendy Shen, President and CEO of FLOMO/NYGALA CORP. (www.flomousa.com), went from a one-woman shop to a Disney deal to building a multimillion dollar global business. She offers products for “everything you need to celebrate” as well as business services like global sourcing and third-party logistics/supply chain management.
Wendy champions women’s leadership and youth empowerment, uplifting women entrepreneurs and inspiring future generations – driven by the values instilled by her parents.
The award honors wegg stakeholders who go out of their way to connect, create, contribute, and collaborate with wegg, and forge helpful alliances. It is named for Gail Adinamis, founder of GlobalCare Clinical Trials, LLC, a leading global provider of ambulant health care services for clinical trials. Gail’s company was acquired by LabCorp in July 2020 to further expand its decentralized clinical trials capabilities globally.
Past awardees are Julie Smolyansky of Lifeway Foods, Michelle Hayward of Bluedog Design, Debra Dudley of Oscarware and Diana Yousef of change:WATER Labs.
