“At the moment we are looking at 25 percent of our business exporting. We are hoping to increase that to 60 percent and we are pretty much looking to double turnover [to £500,000].” ~ Amanda Allerton (pictured), co-founder of Dusky Moon Ltd. with a Dream Tubes display

Women-owned businesses are getting involved in international trade in an accelerated rate. Developing women global talent, skills and leadership makes good business sense for international trade success. Women’s relationship-building and communication abilities make them naturals for global business; women exporters are not just businesswomen but “social entrepreneurs” as well.
Business growth does not have to be limited any longer by local, regional or even national borders, but can increase through the ingenuity, energy and imagination of women business owners and aspiring women international trade professionals.
