Celebrating and commemorating Black History Month 2025 is in full swing! This year’s theme, as lauded by the Smithsonian Institute, is “African-Americans and Labor with a focus on the various and profound ways that work of all kinds intersects with the collective experiences of Black people.” This subject matter is opportunely relevant to wegg®, as we aim to champion the effort, labor, and commitment of African-American women entrepreneurs across the globe all year, every year. Each February is a welcome mat to honor the past, present, and future of Black people in the U.S.

From supporting Black-owned businesses to engaging in events in your community to enriching your understanding of African-American history at your local library, we invite all of our wegg community members to make the most out of this important month of recognition and acknowledgement.
