Female Entrepreneurs Are Critical for Building a Stronger Economy
Below is a great interview that Jeremy Quittner, Staff Writer for Inc. and Inc.com conducted with Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker at the recent Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Morocco. They talk about immigration reform, why female entrepreneurs are critical for building a stronger economy, and how businesses can be agents for change.
Here’s one remark she makes in the interview:
What I am struck by is issues that I hear women talk to me about throughout my career, and the ones I am hearing women talk about here at this conference are the same. They are: How do I manage my time? How do I get better access to capital? I need a mentor. Where do I get an education? Or, I can’t afford to get an MBA because I need to build my business, so I need access to online education, or quick education. These are the same questions asked around the world.
Note: This is why in 2015 we are going to start offering online training to help women entrepreneurs grow. Meanwhile, take a look at WEDAY.
