Small Business Persons of the Year 2011 Winners

The U.S. Small Business Administration’s National Small Business Week (May 6-20, 2011) announces its winners.  To meet them — click here (PDF file download).

And we are happy to see that a fellow-Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. woman business owner, Katrina Markoff (pictured), is a winner (although we already knew she was a winner long, long time ago!).  Congrats Katrina!  Her company is Vosges Haut-Chocolat (catch a video of Katrina here).

Is her company global? Good question.  It sure looks poised to go international any minute but I don’t see a mention of it on the site.  I can envision boutiques in China, Japan and Qatar.  Can’t you?

Pay a visit to:  Vosges Haut-Chocolat.  For the love of chocolate, order some!  And check out Katrina’s sensational blog here.
