Asra Khan is originally from Texas. She moved to Chicago to pursue her degree in Comedic Writing and Performance. As a creative force, her focus has been dedicated to amplifying the voices of women and Asians within the realms of art and entertainment.

Her commitment to empowering underrepresented groups led her to collaborate extensively with non-profit organizations like Stir-Friday Night and APIDA. Through these partnerships, she has contributed her talents to initiatives aimed at elevating Asian artists, advocating for inclusivity and diversity within the artistic landscape.

When she was introduced to wegg®, she was deeply inspired by the mission to help Women Entrepreneurs grow their business globally.

When she’s not working, Asra can be found performing or producing shows at various theaters in Chicago, or at home petting her beloved cat, Guy.
