Unleash Your Full Business Potential and Export!
For more than 35 years, I’ve [Laurel Delaney] been running a successful global business, evolving it from contract-manufacturing food products for export, to importing products for sale to major retail chains, to representing USA-based companies to help them export their products worldwide.
With all this hard-earned experience, I started blogging in 2008 under Women Entrepreneurs Grow Global® (wegg®) to share my insights with others. After a couple of years, I developed almost a cult following. So in 2015, I went a step further and founded wegg, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that educates women entrepreneurs and business owners on how to grow their businesses globally.
Through the efforts of our exceptional wegg team, we have served more than 40,000 women business owners, hosted 200+ programs and continue to receive more than 50,000 visitors to our website, blog and programs.
Why does wegg work?
In this article, “Throw Out Your Local Playbook and Export – Here’s Why,” originally published in Enterprising Women Magazine, you’ll find out why wegg works. Plus, you will learn:
- How does wegg operate?
- Why export?
- What will help more women export?

- What the future will bring for women operating in a borderless world
The world is in your hands. You can choose to deal with uncertainty and growth constraints at home or experience the thrill of exporting to fast-growing overseas markets. It’s your decision. If you have the courage and mindset to export, and you are ready, I ask you to throw out your local playbook and export. The world is wide open. Make it your market, look outward, and you will unleash your full business potential.
